Pinky SuperLauncher — @JoshyB91, @geotheog, and @Devair1 it’s great to have you with us! We’ll have a few questions to touch on the general pulse of things, before opening it up to the floor for a short Q&A.
Let’s start with the origins of Gaia Everworld and the team behind the project. Please give us some background :)
Josh GaiaEverworld — I am the co-founder and CEO of Gaia Everworld. My background is a mix of military and project management. I spent 8 years serving in the army before leaving for university.
During that time I got quite involved with a few blockchain projects. The first was back in 2018 with fellow co-founder to Gaia, Devair. After that project in 2018 we went and did our own things but stayed in touch. He started working with Geo, the other co-founder of Gaia around that -me and they have had some great success with a few projects together, one of which is Unilayer — a decentralised trading platform built on top of Uniswap.
Gaia came to being earlier this year when myself and Devair had been discussing how we believed NFTs and the blockchain will revolutionise the gaming industry. We decided we wanted to create our own games to be a part of that revolution. We used our own capital to get the development started not long ago. The ideas behind Gaia Everworld are born out of our gaming experiences growing up. Devair was a big fan of Runescape and I was one of the earlier users of Second Life back in the early 2000s so we came up with a concept that could recreate those experiences on the blockchain.

What makes GAIA Everworld unique, and when can we expect to start playing it?
Josh GaiaEverworld — Gaia EverWorld is an immersive, multi-region fantasy world where players build their kingdoms, explore the lands, collect, breed, and battle their Gaia Legionnaires. Inspired by classic games such as Pokemon, Clash of Clans, and Runescape. There arent many MMORPGS out there on the blockchain yet and no other brand so far that we have seen plan on having 3 titles under their brand
We expect to release the our PvP version of the game on Q1 2022 that comes with the Play2Earn model and our in-game marketplace where players can earn GG when they win battles and use GG to buy and sell any of our in-game items in our marketplace
Pinky SuperLauncher — Really looking forward to the release and being involved in your meaningful way. Since your token launch not too long ago, it’s been exciting to see that you’ve been making lots of progress.
You are currently conducting LAND sales, with the public sale happening in the 2nd week of December. How has it been going?
Josh GaiaEverworld — We have HUGE demand with over 6000+ whitelists applications, we also have some very big partnerships that we will be announcing shortly after the land sale and we’re also onboarding one of the biggest content creators that bring GAIA to a whole new huge audience.
Pinky SuperLauncher — We are keen to find out what users can do with the LAND after they’ve purchased it, and how they could utilise the LAND in-game.
Josh GaiaEverworld — Owners of Eever will be able to create and host experiences upon them. These experiences can range from creating in-game quests, farms, building arenas to host e-sports competitions, developing mini-games, hosting NFT galleries, social hubs and much more. Full ownership of the land means owners can monetize anything they build, potentially creating passive income opportunities. They can also be used to host contests and events. ill send you a map of the region which is for sale
Josh GaiaEverworld — Eever and $Gaia token holders will be involved in the governance and therefore the development of the Gaia Everworld ecosystem. Owners will be given voting rights determining and governing the future of the Everworld as it gradually moves towards fully decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO).
Our Drag & Drop tool makes it simple for anyone to build their own property in the metaverse.
Pinky SuperLauncher — Beautiful. So Eever is the land on SafeZone. Are there other regions that would be up for sale in the future?
Josh GaiaEverworld — We are researching how we could make it work in a way that battles could cost people their lands in the other regions. Its challenging finding a balance between competition and danger, so we arent rushing into that
Pinky SuperLauncher — You have a long list of credible partners who are involved in Gaia Everworld in one way or another, as evidenced by your website and social media. How have these partners been involved? We noticed that many of them are purchasing Eever in Safezone to establish a presence. Could you share a little more?
Josh GaiaEverworld — We are constantly onboarding new names and projects to work alongside with. The metaverse is going to be an interesting place where people can jump between games using the same characters so we are also working on partnerships with other games and how we could integrate ourselves into their games and vice versa
Geo GaiaEverworld — We have onboarded a long list of strategic investors, as you know raising funds in these current market conditions is quite an easy task, when we first launched GAIA we didn’t want to just take capital from anyone but instead we looked to onboard strategic partners that can bring GAIA to a whole new level, at the moment we have announced collaborations with a few landowners in our upcoming Metaverse :
Polygon, AltcoinDaily, WillyRex, Unilayer, Seedify, Blackdragon and we have more on the way that we will be announcing shortly, also we would like to share a first look video here of something we’ve prepared for you all to see
