How SuperLauncher compares to other Launchpads
Hello Birdies. The launchpad space has become very crowded and most of you might be thinking we are just another launchpad, packed like sardines with the rest! Well with non-birdie vision, you would see us lumped in with the rest and we forgive you for thinking that way. Today we hope to help you enable that hawkeye vision and take a closer look. You would actually see us flying way above the crowded pool and we have no intentions of going down… well, except to swoop down and eat those sardines I guess.
What is a Launchpad?
A launchpad is a way for birdies and soon-to-be birdies to discover early-stage crypto projects before they get mainstream. Imagine all those times you wished you were able to invest in a project you were following and really liked but there was no way of doing so until it got listed on an exchange. Launchpads change that. Well, ICOs changed that back in 2017 but that did not work out too well. Scams everywhere and lack of decentralization caused many to lose their funds and basically gave crypto a very bad name. Launchpads, by way of IDOs or Initial Dex Offering, have picked up on the idea of ICOs, learned from the mistakes made previously, and have produced a safer and transparent way for the likes of you and me to invest.
Three main points define what launchpads do:
- Provide a way to raise capital for new projects who would most likely struggle to raise funds without any connections
- Allow investors to gain early access to token sales (Why should VCs have all the fun and the money?)
- The core function of a launchpad, the vetting process. This allows the investor to have a peace of mind while investing, knowing that the launchpad has done the due diligence on their behalf (Disclaimer: DYOR on the launchpad before you take that flight of faith)
Why SuperLauncher and not Xpad, Ypad, Takeoff, or whatever else the rest are called?
Our previous articles should be clear enough on why we believe we stand out from the rest but no harm in repeating what we already know. We love to chirp and we know you love to hear. Chirp Chirp.
#1 - Our launchpad itself
The UI/UX and ease of use are great. Don’t need to ramble on here. Great is great.
#2 - 0% fee listing, sponsored audit & marketing support
No fees for projects looking to list? Sponsored audit and free marketing support? Do we really need to break this down? I think not. We want to give projects the best possible support before they launch.
#3 - Multi-sig implementations
We do not use multi-sig only for our own tokens. To safeguard our flock, we will hold multi-sig keys for projects that will raise capital with us primarily to prevent the capital raised and the mint function from abuse. Our flock’s safety is always a priority.
#4 - SIZEABLE ALLOCATIONS
Do we really need to say more :) From holding 10k LAUNCH for 5 BNB allocations to holding just 100 LAUNCH for 0.2 BNB allocations in our last IDO shows that we truly are a launchpad for the masses. Now we are on an FCFS model but we will be moving to a guaranteed allocation model in V2. Rest assured we are always pecking around to see what works best for our flock and we truly want to enable mass participation for IDOs. Goodbye, overpriced tier systems!
#5 - Staking, EGGS, and more goodies to come in SuperLauncher V2
Sure everyone has staking. Stake $X to get more $X at low APY rates. Everyone is doing that and frankly, investors are not really getting much out of this whole staking feature that has been replicated everywhere. What we are doing in SuperLauncher is giving you $EGGs for $LAUNCH that you stake. Pfft, EGGs? Let us entice you with some teasers:
- $EGG is designed to give you an edge as an investor birdie in SuperLauncher V2.
- $EGG is a tokenized representation of additional allocation (oh wow?), priority fills (WOW??), temporary or permanent skill upgrades (Gamification!!)
- $EGG can be traded on a DEX once liquidity mining is introduced. (Somehow $EGGs have been released into the wild already but the pool is not liquid enough).
- $EGG’s value will fluctuate from IDO to IDO, as it will factor in the IDO’s future value.
#6 - What is the minimum requirement to participate in IDOs on SuperLauncher?
Hold 100 $LAUNCH. If you were expecting a lengthy explanation there isn’t one. We like to keep things simple and we want our flock to be inclusive. Big fat penguin or a tiny hummingbird, we want you all.
#7 - Referral program
We pay you 5000 $LAUNCH if you refer a project which we launch successfully.
#8 - Whitelist
No tedious filling out of Google forms or any forms for that matter. Just stake to be whitelisted. We really do like to keep things simple.
#9 - What else?
We have a Community-Driven Launchpad feature coming up real soon. More details will be shared before we roll it out but let’s just say it is our liberating side and YAY for democracy.
Above all, we believe it is our loyal flock of birdies who differentiate us from the rest. You have been with us from the beginning and every day we are inspired to do what we do because of you. When we started this, we wanted to fix the problems that are plaguing the current launchpad landscape and of course, we want to go to the moon as well. Our goals remain but with a slight difference. Now we have got a whole flock of birdies we want to go to the moon with.
“Birds that flock together, moon together”
See you on the otherside birdies.
Yours truly, Your Birdies
