Our decision to migrate to zkSync was fueled by the belief that the zkSync token release would significantly boost liquidity in the zkSync ecosystem and that early settlers would benefit the most from the ‘zkSync Summer’. We made the move expecting that the broader market would turn, and that the zkSync token wouldn’t be far away.
Despite our readiness to face a period of low activity preceding the zkSync airdrop, we encountered unexpected challenges. These included our token and liquidity statistics not being tracked by major token trackers like CoinMarketCap (CMC) and CoinGecko (CG), the absence of readily available multi-signature wallets, the initial high gas fees and choice of trading venues among others. Some of these issues stemmed from the blockchain’s inherent state, while others highlighted a lack of tooling and infrastructure support in the nascent zkSync ecosystem — a reality we perhaps underestimated.
However, we stand here today, more confident than ever in our early decision to venture into this ecosystem. We believe the ‘zkSync summer,’ triggered by the zkSync token release, will attract a wave of projects and users eager to explore funding and partnership opportunities within zkSync. This surge in activity is poised to benefit SuperLauncher on multiple levels. Although we are multi-chain compatible and are not chain-dependent for sales, our native token’s position on zkSync positions us to greatly benefit from the anticipated increase in liquidity.
